Margo Weathers graduated from various colleges in Georgia with honours and degrees in Graphic Design, Marketing, and Fashion Merchandising. Upon graduation she went on to intern at an in-house advertising agency for Macy’s in Atlanta, Georgia. After the internship, she accepted a position there as a Stylist and eventually Producer.
She was recruited to join Neiman Marcus Advertising as Senior Executive Art Director and eventually Associate Creative Director. In this position – she was responsible for the concept, photographic direction and execution of the highly regarded printed image piece the book and for National Ad campaigns.
Eight years into her ten-year career at Neiman Marcus, Margo introduced moving imagery to the advertising mix of the institution. For two years, Margo conceived, directed, and edited the web and in-store commercials as well as several short documentaries to accompany the legendary Art of Fashion Campaigns. It was through working with Matthew Rolston and Albert Watson as Photographers on these campaigns that her film work began to attract the attention of Advertising agencies. Margo resigned from Neiman Marcus and chose to devote her career full-time to Directing and Creative Direction.
Margo now resides in Los Angeles and enjoys the opportunity to find inspiration in a very broad spectrum of subjects from travel, to sports, beauty and fashion.
