Scott Corbett began his career as an award-winning copywriter at TBWA/Chiat Day, David and Goliath, and DDB. After several years on the agency side Scott turned his attention to directing.
He began with an outrageously funny and offbeat campaign for Altoids. Before long he was receiving a lot of attention for his unique directorial style of combining humour with strong storytelling narrative and memorable characters.
His Pizza Pops campaign was both hilarious and charming at the same time and went on to win a Silver Lion at Cannes. Nike hired Scott to direct Barbershop, a spot starring Manchester City footballer Mario Baloteli trying on numerous new looks. The spot quickly racked up almost 3 million views on YouTube.
Scott has been recognized in a number of high profile publications including Shots, Ad Critic, Communication Arts, Creativity Magazine, and award show recognition at The One Show, Cannes, ADDY’s, and more.
